Warehouse FLT Driver – Counterbalance & Reach

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse FLT Driver to join the logistics team at the DS Smith site in Milton Keynes. This is a full‑time, temporary contract (initially 3 months) working a 4‑days‑on, 4‑days‑off 12‑hour shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Operate both Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from transport vehicles, ensuring accurate handling.
• Maintain smooth inventory flow across the busy warehouse floor.
• Uphold a clean, hazard‑free work environment and comply with all health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid, up‑to‑date Counterbalance and Reach forklift licences.
• Proven hands‑on experience in a high‑pressure warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable with a continuous 12‑hour shift rotation (6 am – 6 pm or 6 pm – 6 am).
• Strong communication, physical stamina and a proactive, team‑first attitude.
