Warehouse Manager – Milton Keynes

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a growing, forward‑thinking organisation in Milton Keynes. You will lead operational improvements, implement new processes and help shape the future of the warehouse operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity and high service standards.
• Develop and implement strategic operational improvements.
• Review, negotiate and renegotiate supplier and service contracts as required.
• Support the creation of new warehouse processes and best‑practice procedures.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across the operation.
• Manage and develop warehouse teams, fostering a positive, high‑performing culture.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a senior operations role.
• Track record of implementing strategic operational improvements.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts.
• Background in establishing, developing or improving warehouse operations, including start‑up environments.
• Strong IT and computer literacy; an IT background is advantageous but not essential.
