Warehouse Operations Assistant – Day Shift

About the role

As a Warehouse Operations Assistant you will help keep Aldi’s Regional Distribution Centre in Chelmsford clean, efficient and running smoothly during day shifts. You will support daily warehouse activities, ensuring that pallets are organised, spillages are dealt with and the environment meets our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the distribution centre.
• Organise pallets and manage stock movements.
• Operate a forklift truck safely to move goods.
• Clean up spillages and handle waste.
• Print and display price cards where required.
• Stock and maintain vending machines and other ancillary equipment.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with a strong initiative.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
