Warehouse Operative – Architectural Ironmongery

About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative specialised in architectural ironmongery to join our team in Orpington. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of high‑end construction products from receipt to dispatch.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, check and store incoming deliveries of ironmongery and related products.
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer and project orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain up‑to‑date stock records and uphold warehouse standards.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Support safe and efficient day‑to‑day warehouse operations.
Required profile
- Previous shop‑floor warehouse experience.
- Ideally experience within the ironmongery sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and numerical ability.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

- Competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per year.
- Standard Monday‑Friday schedule (08:00‑17:30).
