Warehouse Operative – Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our Irvine site on a Monday‑to‑Friday day shift. You will support the receipt, storage and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods while ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance and/or reach forklifts to load, unload and move materials safely across the warehouse and yard.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming chemical goods in line with company and regulatory procedures.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Maintain inventory records and perform stock checks using SAP.
• Follow COSHH and other site‑specific safety protocols for hazardous materials.
• Seal, label and store containers correctly.
• Support housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean and hazard‑free.
• Collaborate with production to guarantee material availability and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process‑driven tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift operation.
• Reach forklift operation.
• Use of SAP warehouse management system.
• VNA forklift operation (training provided if needed).
