Warehouse Operative (Dispatch, Picking & Packing)

About the role

As a Warehouse Operative you will be a vital part of the fulfilment team, ensuring that every customer order is picked accurately, packed securely and dispatched on time. The role is fast‑paced, hands‑on and directly represents the company to its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Use handheld scanners to pick items from the despatch area according to customer orders.
• Pack items safely, label them correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
• Retrieve stock from the warehouse, including lifting and moving boxes as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace and support inventory control processes.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily targets and cover each other when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse picking and packing role.
• Comfortable using scanners and basic warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexible and reliable, especially during busy periods.
