Warehouse Operative & Driver

About the role

This dual‑role position supports daily warehouse operations while delivering and collecting stock across the UK for renewable‑energy installations. You will ensure that materials are handled safely, accurately recorded and dispatched on time to installation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries.
• Pick, pack and prepare materials for Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Chargers and related products.
• Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver materials to installation teams nationwide.
• Collect stock from suppliers and transport goods between company sites.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock takes.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are well‑maintained.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and assist the Operations Team to meet installation schedules.
• Undertake additional duties as required to support business operations.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Previous multi‑drop or delivery driving experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Flexible approach to working hours and changing priorities.

Required skills

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
