Warehouse Operative – Fixed Term

About the role

Join Damart’s Logistics team on a fixed‑term basis to support accurate stock management and develop new warehouse skills. You will work both independently and as part of a team, reporting to the Stock & Systems Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and follow stock management procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct system checks and stock reconciliations, investigating any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the operations stock manager on sub‑projects while ensuring customer service standards.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies, using mechanical handling equipment and working at heights.
• Provide flexible support across other warehouse areas as needed.

Required profile

• Flexible, confident individual able to solve problems and escalate issues when necessary.
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail and an organised approach.
• Committed to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Required skills

• Experience with mechanical handling equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and aim to obtain a forklift truck licence.
• Familiarity with warehouse management data systems and stock reconciliation tools.
