Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a leading logistics and warehousing business in Severn Beach, South West England. The role involves handling customer goods safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and process customer goods within agreed timeframes.
• Operate as an effective member of the warehouse team.
• Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Follow special handling instructions detailed on documentation.
• Complete all warehouse documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local legislative requirements and company policies.
• Use warehouse scanning systems and handheld devices.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities, including manual handling of loose cargo.
• Support operational requirements as directed by management.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience.
• A valid FLT licence.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse environment.
• Experience using warehouse scanning systems.
• Basic computer and Android device knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, good timekeeping and reliability.
• Flexibility to work alternating shift patterns.
• Physical capability to undertake manual handling duties.
