Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our team in Hook, Hampshire. The position starts as a temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent for reliable and high‑performing candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move pallets and stock.
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy.
• Load and unload deliveries, handling goods with care.
• Perform general warehouse duties such as stock control, inventory checks and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Required profile

• Valid Forklift Truck licence.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (required for the location).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Pallet handling and stock movement.
• Order picking and packing.
• Loading and unloading of goods.
• Basic health and safety awareness.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.00‑£13.50.
• Monday‑to‑Friday schedule, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, no weekend work.
