Warehouse Operative – Freight Forwarding (4 on 4 off)

About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a well‑established freight forwarding and logistics business in Hayes. The role works a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern, days from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, offering a stable routine and long‑term career prospects.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, check and dispatch freight throughout the day.
- Move and organise stock safely within the warehouse.
- Carry out regular manual handling tasks, including lifting and sorting goods.
- Maintain clean, safe and well‑maintained work areas.
- Support the wider team with general warehouse operations as needed.
Required profile
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in freight warehousing or logistics.
- Full driving experience.
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
Required skills
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Full Driving Licence.
