About the role

Our client, a growing industrial supplies business in Carnforth, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. The role involves handling, storing and dispatching products while maintaining a safe, organised environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and handle products safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational targets.
• Support general warehouse duties and housekeeping.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Manual handling experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks.
• Flexible, proactive and reliable attitude.
• Commitment to high safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence (desirable).

What we offer

• Salary £30,000‑£32,000 per annum.
• Performance‑related bonus up to £6,000 per year, paid monthly.
