Warehouse Operative – Full-time Temporary

About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a growing team in Chippenham. The role is full‑time temporary, Monday‑Friday, with shift hours from 12:15 to 20:15 after an initial training period.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Load, unload and move heavy goods such as sofas using manual handling aids.
- Move pallets throughout the distribution centre.
- Receive, sort and process customer returns.
- Pick items according to order specifications and prepare them for shipment.
- Label goods accurately and scan materials in and out of locations.
Required profile
- Ability to handle and move heavy goods safely.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Good understanding of warehouse management systems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team‑oriented, proactive and flexible approach.
- Commitment to follow procedures and maintain high standards.
