Warehouse Operative – Full‑Time, Doncaster

About the role

The Stores (Warehouse) Operative ensures smooth warehouse operations, handling goods receipt, order processing and stock preparation for branch transfers. The role also provides backup support for the Warehouse Admin and Support Coordinator during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect and sign for incoming deliveries, matching goods to purchase orders and booking them into the system.
• Pick, pack and secure orders for dispatch accurately.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support regular stock takes.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, safe and well‑organised.
• Assist with picking, processing and packing of production goods as required.
• Oversee daily stock allocation, generate dispatch documentation and coordinate transport or couriers.
• Monitor and replenish workshop consumables, process stock adjustments and branch transfer requests.
• Compile and verify certification and technical documentation packs before dispatch.
• Schedule asset inspections, calibrations and servicing with third‑party suppliers as directed.

Required profile

• Organised and methodical with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Physically fit and safety conscious.

Required skills

• Forklift licence.
• Proficiency with inventory software.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word.
