Warehouse Operative – Full‑time, Guildford

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution centre in Guildford. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming deliveries, including 40ft shipping containers.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Maintain stock accuracy and support regular stock counts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures.
• Report any discrepancies, damages or operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift.
• Valid driver’s licence (required for the site location).
• Good attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting tasks.
