Warehouse Operative – Full‑time in Newbury

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team at the headquarters in Newbury. Reporting to the General Manager and Director, you will ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately for next‑day delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently.
• Process orders using internal warehouse and order‑processing systems.
• Book consignments via courier and carrier platforms.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods.
• Prepare outgoing shipments for collection and delivery.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Maintain accurate stock locations, movements and rotation.
• Support stock‑control activities such as stock checks and product relabelling.
• Replenish picking locations and assist with warehouse organisation.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and safety.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.
