Warehouse Operative – Full‑time Temporary Role

About the role

This temporary, full‑time position is based in Rochester and involves supporting the daily flow of goods through the warehouse. You will work as part of a team to meet dispatch targets while maintaining a safe and organised environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use handheld scanners to pick items accurately from the despatch area against customer orders.
• Pack items securely and label them correctly for dispatch.
• Retrieve stock from the warehouse, including lifting and moving boxes.
• Keep the workspace clean and organised, taking ownership of the environment.
• Support stock control and inventory management processes.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to hit daily targets, covering each other when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable operating a handheld scanner.
• Ability to lift and move boxes safely.
• Willingness to work the stated hours, including Sundays.
