Warehouse Operative – Heavy Lifting

About the role

Join a fast‑moving logistics team as a Warehouse Operative responsible for heavy lifting and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will work on‑site in Basingstoke, handling orders, stock and deliveries while maintaining a safe and tidy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately complete all orders during each shift.
• Report any issues promptly to prevent operational failures.
• Assist with deliveries, book in stock and organise inventory.
• Meet productivity targets and report any variances.
• Perform pre‑shift equipment checks and coordinate repairs.
• Follow health and safety policies at all times.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse floor and adhere to a clear‑desk policy.
• Carry out stock takes as directed.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication for effective teamwork.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proactive attitude towards health and safety compliance.
