Warehouse Operative – Heywood (Temp to Perm)

About the role
Assist Resourcing are seeking Warehouse Operatives in Heywood to support a leading UK cake and hot dessert manufacturer. This temporary position can become permanent after 12 weeks, offering a fast‑track into a stable role.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders using handheld scanners.
- Wrap pallets and handle PPTs and LLOPs.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace in both chilled and ambient zones.
- Adapt to additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Required profile
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Hard‑working, reliable and able to travel to the Heywood site.
- UK resident; the employer cannot sponsor visas or provide relocation assistance.
