Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our logistics and distribution team in Edinburgh. The role involves preparing finished products for transport, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and maintaining high quality standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build pallets of finished product according to specifications for safe transport.
• Complete production paperwork accurately for each shift, recording outputs.
• Open, check and re‑package rejected products in line with quality standards.
• Maintain clean‑as‑you‑go housekeeping across the packing floor.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and act on product quality or pallet‑building issues.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail, especially for record‑keeping and product handling.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate documentation.
• Physical ability to lift and stack products in a demanding environment.
• Good organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks per shift.
• Team‑oriented with clear communication.
• Problem‑solving mindset when handling rejected or damaged goods.
