Warehouse Operative

About the role

Join a fast‑growing UK‑wide furnishing specialist as a Warehouse Operative. You will play a vital part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly, preparing furniture and homeware for delivery and supporting installations across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack furniture and homeware items accurately.
• Prepare and protect stock for delivery, including padding and wrapping.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or a similar hands‑on role (desirable).
• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Good physical fitness for lifting and manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail when handling products.
• Ability to work well within a small, close‑knit team.
• Easy‑going, reliable and team‑oriented personality.

• Salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000 per year.
• Full‑time, 40 hours per week (typically 8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00).
