Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are looking for a practical and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team on a full‑time, permanent basis in Winnersh, South East England. The role involves handling goods, managing stock, preparing equipment for delivery and supporting on‑site installations, offering a varied and hands‑on working day.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing goods accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels using an integrated stock management system.
• Carry out pre‑delivery inspections of equipment and prepare it for customer installation.
• Assist with deliveries and support engineers during on‑site installations as required.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are performed safely and in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment with a solid understanding of goods‑in/goods‑out processes.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.
• Confident driver holding a full, valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Experience using a stock management or inventory control system.
• Good practical and mechanical aptitude for assembling and preparing equipment.
