Warehouse Operative

About the role

Join Brakes as a Warehouse Operative at our Warrington depot, working 5 days a week between 6:00 am and 3:30 pm. No prior warehouse experience is required – we provide full training and development opportunities, including optional accredited courses such as forklift operation, first aid and HGV driving.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and quality‑check ambient, chilled and frozen food items for delivery.
• Prepare orders for drivers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with health‑safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including temperature‑controlled areas.
• Use equipment safely, with training provided as needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in a cool environment and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Attention to detail and an eye for quality.
• Preferably have own transport to reach the depot.
