Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a busy air cargo and logistics operation near Heathrow. You will support day‑to‑day warehouse activities, ensuring cargo is handled safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures. The role follows a 4‑on, 4‑off day shift pattern with day‑only shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Build Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and handle import/export cargo.
• Release import shipments and process related documentation.
• Process both import and export paperwork accurately.
• Identify and report packaging that does not meet company standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Provide a 5‑year checkable employment and address history.
• Ability to lift and handle parcels up to 32 kg.
• Good English communication skills.
• Flexible approach to work, especially during busy periods.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Valid DBS certificate.
• Cargo Operative Training Certificate (can be arranged at additional cost).
