About the role
Warehouse Operative needed for a busy distribution centre in Waterlooville. The role offers a rate of £12.96 per hour, Monday‑Friday shifts starting at 08:00 (with a later start on Fridays) and is advertised as a temporary‑to‑permanent contract. It is a full‑time position and the successful candidate will join Wild Recruitment’s team to support daily warehouse operations.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately receive, check and put‑away all deliveries into the warehouse, ensuring each item is logged correctly.
- Accurately pick and pack orders, making sure all stock is complete, undamaged and ready for dispatch.
- Assist in the correct rotation of stock to maintain freshness and compliance with inventory procedures.
- Ensure picking locations are accurately replenished to satisfy customer orders promptly.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and yard, adopting a “clean as you go” approach throughout the shift.
