Warehouse Operative – Night Shift (6pm‑6am)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a leading distribution centre in Sherburn in Elmet. The role is night‑shift based, working 6 pm to 6 am on a 3‑on, 3‑off rota, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Move pallets and stock between storage and distribution areas, ensuring accuracy.
- Carry out pre‑use equipment checks and report any faults.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Support general warehouse duties as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Good literacy and numeracy standards.
- Reliable, committed and able to work night shifts.
Required skills
- Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) operation.
