Warehouse Operative – Storekeeper (Milton Keynes)

About the role

We are looking for an organised and reliable Warehouse Operative/Storekeeper to support our SGN contract in Milton Keynes. You will ensure engineers have the right materials to keep essential services running, with occasional van driving and site travel.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to engineer requests, issuing materials accurately and on time.
• Pick and prepare orders for collections and operational needs.
• Receive deliveries, check and record stock in the system.
• Manage and segregate waste following company processes.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low stock.
• Support stock takes and occasional work at other sites.

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehousing, stores or logistics.
• Knowledge of safe manual handling and warehouse safety practices.
• Understanding of stock control and basic inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Full UK driving licence (essential) and willingness to travel to other sites.
