About the role
We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Technician for an established organisation near Guildford, Surrey. The role combines general warehouse duties, stock control and basic technical tasks, with full training provided. It is ideal for a reliable, motivated individual keen to develop their skills.
Key responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing stock
- Stock control, labelling and logging
- Updating stock systems and using handheld scanners
- Loading and unloading goods
- Checking, cleaning and preparing returned items
- Basic checks and minor maintenance where required
- Occasionally assisting with deliveries and other operational duties
Required profile
- Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable using computers and handheld scanners
- Reliable, organised and happy working as part of a team
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence
