Warehouse Sorter – Full‑time (Reserve)

About the role

This is a full‑time reserve position at Parcelforce Worldwide in Carlisle, covering leave for existing team members and the WHAM supervisor. The role involves physically demanding tasks in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, with regular shift hours from Tuesday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Unload and load parcels from trailers.
• Sort parcels to the correct delivery routes and prepare trailers for drivers.
• Maintain a friendly, dependable service for both personal and business shipments.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) with no more than 6 points.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
