Warehouse Stock Controller

About the role

Our client, a growing logistics business, is seeking an organised Warehouse Stock Controller to maintain accurate inventory records and support daily warehouse operations. The role involves working on 8‑hour shifts between 6 am and 10 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and investigate any discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock counts, audits and monitor stock movements.
• Optimise storage locations and develop replenishment plans to meet operational demand.
• Produce and analyse stock reports using the warehouse management system.
• Support the handling of returned, aged, obsolete or expired stock.
• Collaborate with warehouse, finance and customer‑support teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Train and support colleagues on stock‑control best practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse administration.
• Strong attention to detail and high data accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good problem‑solving, organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Warehouse management systems.
• Microsoft Office.
• SAP.
• Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables.
