Warehouse Stock Controller

About the role

Join a dynamic operations team in Gloucester as a Warehouse Stock Controller. You will split your time between hands‑on warehouse duties and office‑based administration, ensuring stock accuracy across on‑site and off‑site locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy across all warehouse sites.
• Conduct daily perpetual inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Book incoming stock, process returned NCRs and manage stock movements using Sage.
• Produce stock and traceability labels.
• Investigate shortages, damaged goods, mis‑picks and customer queries, recording findings.
• Manage returnable assets (stillages, pallet boxes) with the Trackabout system.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Lead fortnightly zero‑pick and quarantine stock meetings and follow‑up investigations.
• Support warehouse and transport administration as needed.
• Provide training and cover for colleagues during holidays and absences.
• Ensure all activities comply with Health & Safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or similar warehouse role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
• Ability to solve problems and build relationships across departments.
