Warehouse Stock Controller – Warrington

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join a well‑established manufacturing client in Warrington. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth flow of materials from production to dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Own stock accuracy across the entire warehouse operation.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances.
• Manage stock movements from manufacturing through storage and dispatch.
• Conduct cycle counts according to schedule and investigate any variances.
• Maintain accurate stock booking, labelling and put‑away processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to record and store finished goods correctly.
• Support depot teams with investigations, returns and discrepancy resolution.
• Keep records up‑to‑date in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP system.
• Identify and implement improvements to stock control processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or similar warehouse role.
• Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Effective communication across multiple departments.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
• ERP experience, preferably Epicor or similar.
