Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day operations at our Hemel Hempstead facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high inventory accuracy and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including goods receipt, storage and dispatch.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse staff to meet operational targets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal teams and third‑party logistics providers.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements.
• Produce and analyse reports on productivity, inventory and shipping accuracy.
• Ensure warehouse organisation, housekeeping and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for warehouse best practices and communicate effectively with stakeholders across sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or Warehouse Manager.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) operation.
• Inventory management software.
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
