Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy operation serving the catering and hospitality sector. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will ensure the warehouse runs safely, efficiently and accurately while motivating a team of operatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily shift briefings, allocate workloads and supervise team performance.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders with accuracy.
• Oversee goods‑in, conduct stock checks and maintain inventory control.
• Coordinate deliveries and liaise with transport providers.
• Train, support and develop warehouse staff.
• Monitor productivity, quality and health & safety standards.
• Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse Team Leader or Supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage team performance in a fast‑paced setting.
• Physical capability to lift, walk, bend and reach regularly throughout the shift.
