Warehouse Team Leader – Temporary (3-6 months)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Leader on a temporary basis to oversee operations in Bethnal Green, supporting community services for the local authority. The role runs for an initial 3‑6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6‑7 warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Manage ordering, receiving, and stock control processes.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure a safe environment.
• Develop relationships with commissioners, prescribers and health & social care partners.
• Coordinate facilities management tasks specific to the local authority.
• Support contract mobilisation and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse teams.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Excellent client relationship and staff performance management abilities.
• Empathy for service users and understanding of community‑focused services.
• Experience in health and social care environments is advantageous.
