Waste Segregation Officer – Temp to Perm (Wimbledon)

About the role

The Waste Segregation Officer will join an established environmental services company focused on reducing landfill and conserving natural resources. Working on‑site at customer locations, you will help sort waste correctly and support customers in creating a cleaner environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise customers' waste from bin bags into the appropriate recycling and non‑recycling bins.
• Visit customer sites and liaise with them to resolve any issues or address additional requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of waste segregation activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated reliability and strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail when sorting waste.
• Willingness to help customers achieve a cleaner environment.
• Experience in the waste industry or face‑to‑face customer service is desirable but not essential.

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 (range £12.71‑£13.45).
• Temporary to permanent contract with the possibility of long‑term employment.
• Monday to Saturday shift pattern, ongoing work.
