Water Hygiene Technician

About the role

Join a specialist team in Wokingham as a Water Hygiene Technician on a full‑time temporary basis. You will support customers by ensuring hot and cold water systems meet safety and quality standards, with training provided for those new to the field.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular water temperature checks, flushing programmes and water sampling.
• Maintain accurate records of monitoring and compliance activities across multiple sites.
• Assist with cleaning and disinfection of hot and cold water systems and cooling equipment.
• Service and maintain shower heads and thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs).
• Identify faults on‑site, take corrective action and report any compliance concerns.
• Work closely with the scheduling team to ensure efficient job completion.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.

Required profile

• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Reliable, proactive and organised approach to work.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
