Welder Fabricator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a long‑standing, family‑run precision engineering business. The role is based at a large site serving clients in the UK and abroad, offering a stable full‑time position within a friendly, loyal team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and aluminium components.
• Fabricate and assemble parts from sheet metal according to drawings and assembly instructions.
• Cut materials using appropriate methods and ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Assess equipment, structures and job specifications to select suitable welding positions and methods.
• Support large orders, including current projects for US clients, while adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
