Welder Fabricator

About the role

Our client, a leading global manufacturer in Dorking, is seeking experienced Welder Fabricators to join their welding and fabrication department on a full‑time, shift‑based schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and ISO quality standards.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild and stainless steel to commercial standards.
• Produce cleaned and, where required, fettled parts ready for painting.
• Maintain accurate work records and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure a tidy work area and high levels of housekeeping.
• Cross‑train on multiple jobs to achieve full competency.

Required profile

• Proven experience welding mild and stainless steel.
• Ability to pass a weld test during interview.
• Willingness to work within a friendly team and take responsibility.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns (05:45‑13:45 / 14:15‑22:15 alternating weekly).
