Welder – Machine Shop (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our busy machine shop team on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality welds that meet engineering specifications and our strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG and/or MMA welding as required by production schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Inspect welded components to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe, clean working environment.
• Support other shop activities during quieter periods, such as machining, assembly and general housekeeping.

Required profile

• Relevant welding qualifications or certifications.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to work accurately from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
