Welding Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Welding Administrator to support the commercial side of our engineering department. The role involves processing welding documentation, managing orders and invoices, and providing financial analysis to maximise profit.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily welding documentation and enter data into the welding database.
• Administer client and subcontractor orders, issue period valuations and invoices according to contract schedules.
• Support the accounting team with remittance breakdowns, expense confirmation and related information.
• Raise subcontractor orders, process invoices for payment and perform variance analysis between applications and receipts.
• Prepare period‑end commercial reconciliations and present reports to senior management.
• Identify contract variation requests and liaise with the Head of Operations.
• Attend monthly client review meetings to address commercial queries.
