Wholesale Coffee Trainer

About the role

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is seeking a charismatic Wholesale Coffee Trainer to elevate its wholesale coffee programme across the Southeast and London. This field‑based role blends relationship management with hands‑on barista training, ensuring partner sites consistently deliver exceptional coffee and service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical barista training – from introductory to advanced levels – for wholesale partners, both on‑site and virtually.
• Develop and continuously refresh the wholesale customer training programme and supporting materials.
• Run calibration sessions, support visits, and quality checks at partner locations.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback on coffee quality to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners.
• Track training sessions, partner progress, and quality metrics to measure impact.
• Represent Trading Post at events, workshops, and trade shows.
• Support internal coffee education to nurture a strong coffee culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Barista Trainer or senior barista with a passion for sharing knowledge.
• Strong understanding of specialty coffee, including espresso preparation, milk texturing, grinder calibration and equipment care.
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
• Comfortable travelling across the UK and delivering training in varied environments.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple programmes.
• Full UK driving licence.
