Wills and Probate Chartered Legal Executive – Private Client Supervision

About the role

This position is a senior private‑client supervision role within an estate‑planning team. You will ensure that wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney are drafted accurately and meet both legal and technical standards, while enjoying a flexible, non‑billable work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside solicitors and technical professionals to progress client files.
• Review and quality‑assure wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney for legal and technical accuracy.
• Provide feedback and suggest changes to align documentation with client estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise with the wider estate‑planning team, offering technical support and answering queries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning and extensive wills‑writing experience.
• Experience with tax planning related to lifetime estate matters.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
