Wills and Probate Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Wills and Probate Solicitor to join our estate‑planning team, supervising private‑client matters and ensuring the highest quality of legal documentation. The role offers flexible working arrangements with no billable targets, allowing you to focus on client service and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and technical professionals to progress client files.
• Review and quality‑assure wills, trusts, and Lasting Power of Attorney documents for legal and technical accuracy.
• Provide feedback and recommend changes to meet clients’ estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise closely with the estate‑planning team, offering technical support and answering queries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.

Required profile

• Qualified as a solicitor, CILEX, STEP, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, wills drafting, and trust structures.
• Experience with tax planning in the context of lifetime planning.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent team‑working and communication skills.

What we offer

• Salary starting from £33,000 (range £30,001‑£45,000) per year.
• Flexible hours – part‑time (minimum 22.5 h) or full‑time (37.5 h).
