WordPress Developer

About the role

A small, vibrant design studio specialising in branding and bespoke websites for packaging companies, based in London and Salisbury, is looking for a passionate WordPress or Shopify developer. As one of its key developers, you will take part in all aspects of WordPress development, including building and maintaining WordPress and Shopify sites and customising and editing WordPress plugins.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain WordPress and Shopify sites
• Customise and edit WordPress plugins
• Set up and build new WordPress and Shopify sites, and customise existing ones
• Maintain WordPress and Shopify websites
• Work closely with the team of developers and with clients from planning to delivery

Required profile

• Excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery and WordPress and Shopify theme development
• Experience and proficiency in responsive design and development
• Technical knowledge for maintaining WordPress and Shopify websites
• Passionate approach to testing, clean code and continuous improvement
• Good communication skills, dependability and attention to detail
• Team player able to take the lead on projects
