Workday HCM Consultant – Public Sector Transformation

About the role

We are partnering with a large public‑sector organisation that is undertaking one of the most significant Workday implementations in the UK. As a Workday HCM Consultant you will join a high‑profile transformation programme, helping to replace legacy HR systems and build a permanent in‑house capability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and configure Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Talent and Absence.
• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
• Support design, testing and deployment phases of the greenfield implementation.
• Contribute to the creation and maturation of an internal Workday Centre of Excellence.
• Provide ongoing support, optimisation and continuous improvement of the Workday platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Workday HCM Consultant, either client‑side or within a consultancy.
• Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules and end‑to‑end implementation experience.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £53,000 and £66,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 26% pension contribution (up to £17,160 per annum).
• Remote‑first working model with quarterly site visits.
