Workshop Carpenter – Night Shift (West Kensington)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Carpenter to join our Track Workshops team on a night‑shift basis. The role involves manufacturing high‑quality timber components and bespoke items from engineering drawings in a dedicated workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce timber components and bespoke items according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to create accurate joints and assemblies.
• Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Machine timber, fabricate joints, and assemble finished products.
• Perform making and repairing tasks; no on‑site installation required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a workshop carpenter in timber product manufacturing.
• Skilled with woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent workshop carpentry/joinery experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
• Availability for night‑shift work (23:00‑06:30, Mon‑Fri) and overtime.
