Workshop Controller – Alperton

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based at a busy dealership in Alperton. The Workshop Controller will lead the workshop team, ensuring efficient workflow, high‑quality repairs and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day workshop operations and allocate work to technicians based on skill and demand.
• Monitor productivity, meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and manufacturer compliance.
• Support, coach and motivate the workshop team to achieve performance targets.
• Liaise with the Service Department to keep customers informed of repair progress.
• Assist with technical queries and ensure repairs are completed to the highest standard.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor or Senior Technician in the motor trade.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, customer‑focused attitude and a full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge with strong diagnostic understanding of vehicle systems.
