Workshop Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a state-of-the-art sports-brand dealership in Borehamwood. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will plan and coordinate workshop activities to meet customer expectations while maximising utilisation and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of workshop staff to achieve performance targets.
• Schedule work, manage job cards and ensure the Dealer Management System (DMS) is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor workshop utilisation, productivity and profitability.
• Identify potential warranty claims in line with manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate with the parts department to order necessary components.
• Conduct performance reviews and arrange training where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a main-dealer environment.
• Previous role as a Workshop Controller or similar.
• Good understanding of health and safety policies.
• Self-motivated with strong time-management abilities.
