Yard Operative / Labourer – Full‑time, £12.71/hr

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking Yard Operative/Labourer to join our busy outdoor site in Paddock Wood. The role involves physical, manual work supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the yard, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of manual tasks such as loading, unloading, moving materials and equipment.
• Assist the team in maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, following health and safety procedures.
• Support site operations by handling stock, preparing work areas and completing ad‑hoc duties.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Own transport and available to start immediately.
• No prior experience required.

• £12.71 per hour, paid weekly.
• 45 hour week (7:00 am – 5:00 pm) with overtime on Saturdays.
• Temporary to permanent opportunity with immediate start.
• Annual salary equivalent of approximately £29,741.
